Any tips on propagating? Did you just separate off some sections and put them in soil?
@Chevysgirl11 very beautiful. Love seeing all the kids πŸ˜‚.
@Leafyleaves for cacti and succulents especially one like this pretty much. You take a leaf off at the break and let the area that is cut dry out for a couple of days and then place in moist soil and just spray it when ot drys out and it should root. Some succulents propagate better from leaves or stems or grow offshoots naturally it just takes a bit of time to find which they prefer.
Also dipping the cut in some rooting powder can help as well
That's exactly what I did and I left the sections for a couple of days before I put them in soil
Thank you and yeah getting as bad as The spider babies πŸ˜‚
@TheLonelyDaff @Leafyleaves
That's exactly what I did except the rooting hormone never had any But I was quite happy how these turned out Its been a couple of months since I potted them 😍
@Chevysgirl11 😍 just as cute on the spider plant, im well jealous youre tempting me into getting one now too πŸ˜‚
@TheLonelyDaff thanks!
Hello @Chevysgirl11, I love your props. I just wanted to add that I have found that propping goes a little bit easier if you have at least 3 sections on each prop. This plant can live for many years and is great for starting a family tradition.
Thank you I didn't know that it was a bit hit and miss doing this They are lovely plants I'm not sure when to repot or how many should I pot together Any Advice greatly appreciated πŸ₯°
You do have some beautiful new growth. I think you are doing well. It is also OK to prop in water.
Just say the word πŸ˜‚πŸ’Œ I do love these as much as all the Crew Spiders 🀣
Thank you isn't it nice seeing new plants grow from scratch
