911!!!
Iโ€™m hoping to get some help, lol. Iโ€™m leaving tomorrow to go to the beach for a few days & was watering, checking for critters๐Ÿ˜’ and doing some general maintenance on my babes.. Iโ€™ve had this #StringOfButtons for about 2 years.. it outgrew the 1st pot pretty quickly & then I moved it to a terracotta just a little bigger & it has been thrivingโ€ฆ itโ€™s been a while since I took it out to f the window to look at it really good & I wish I would have done it sooner! This is my fav succulent & I ๐‘ต๐‘ฌ๐‘ฌ๐‘ซ to save it๐Ÿ˜ญ This is all from one plant. The โ€œroot ballsโ€ are literally smaller than a dime! How can I salvage as much as possible? #stringsofthings #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #StringOfButtons #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #planttherapysucculentlove #PlantTherapy #whatsgoingonhere
5โ€ pot with drainage

You could try putting root hormone at the base of the stems and where you want to grow more roots then plant them in some fresh, damp soil and hope for the best.
@iNeedMorePlants I have some! Gonna try that!
Maybe a more shallow pot? Ugh, Iโ€™m sorry! ๐Ÿ˜ญ
I decided to conduct an experiment. Sprayed them all off and dipped the ends and root hormones. Planted some in soil and some in๏ฟผrehydrated moss. Then did the same process with some of the little โ€œbuttonsโ€ that had fallen off. Split them all of into groups putting some in direct/indirect light & some in natural/grow lights -if that makes sense.. Iโ€™m going to give everythinga anyhoo, Iโ€™ll update water tomorrow before we leave & ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž !! Iโ€™ll update when I get back!! @iNeedMorePlants @elisenavidad
@LaLaslovlies yay!! Hope it works ๐Ÿ˜ญ
I got one of these from a grocery store, and it came with stem rot that I didnโ€™t catch until it was too late. I topped off the unaffected tips, and let me just say, it took forever to root (I did use hormone), but they are rooted! I suspect theyโ€™ll hang in for the winter and hopefully recover/grow in the spring. My plant was obviously unhealthy, so maybe yours will go faster, but donโ€™t give up!
