Happy #WhatTheSuccWednesday! This week, I’m sharing a succulent I recently rescued from a big box store. He has been through the wringer! As you can see by all his scars and the cinnamon I sprinkled on the fresh looking gouges and amputations 🥲. He must have really been jostled around and dropped a bunch of times. I couldn’t leave him there. I’m going to nurse him back to his full glory! ❤️‍🩹 I treated his wounds and put him in a pretty clay pot with good, gritty succulent mix. He did have a LONG flower stem when I found him, but the flowers were not going to bloom (I could tell by them being dried out and the stem being all skinny and droopy up near the flowers), so I cut that stem so he could focus his energy on healing.💕 There’s a poem in here, somewhere. I think many of us can empathize with him. Welcome to my plant family, Fabian! #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #SuccerForSucculents #plantrescue #HappyPlants #GregGang #PlantAddict #PLANTMAFIA #PlantTherapy #babevila

She is definitely a lucky succulent to have found you.
Oh that’s so sweet! Our scars tell us a story and make us beautiful. We each just need love and patience. 🌱☀️❤️
My sister and I do the same thing when we go plant shopping, we like to save them too! It’s fun to watch them heal and bounce back with some TLC. 🥰
@HighpowerPhalsa 100%! I always go straight for the clearance section. And I’ve found some gems! I have a purple and silver iridescent Rex begonia I’m slowly nursing to health, and she is already shinier and the baby leaves are growing. It’s so gratifying to know I had a hand in it 🥰
@jennysue23 That is beautiful! 😍
