Started my new experience with monstera with this little one, any advices? #monstera
Your new baby looks beautiful!
β soil looks great
β itβs under a grow light
β pot with drainage
I would suggest just ensuring you water when the soil is dry, not just following Gregβs reminders.
And wipe those beautiful leaves down from time to time to get the dust off. This also gives you the opportunity to check the leaves for any pests.
I like to take mine into the shower occasionally too and simulate rain π§οΈ. You will eventually need to give it a support - it might be needed in a few months when it has grown a bit more - keep that in mind π Best of luck with your lovely new baby! πΏπΏπΏ

@Mano happy to help, buddy!
Great advice about showers @WelsomeRhodotus for monstera i think! Plants are no different than humans. They need exercise also to get strong. Showers make the leaves work to hold themselves up! Plus it cleans em. Win win π
@TheConservator me too! ππππ§οΈπ§οΈπ§οΈ
@TheConservator by βshowerβ do you place then in the direct path of the water or just behind the water falling so they take in the moisture
@AwaitedPukatea you place them right under the shower stream so that both soil and leaves get a good soak and wash π§οΈπ§οΈ
