So I don’t particularly have any fresh leafs to share today (although my China rose, Kate RoseBush, is almost ready to open up a new bud 🌹), but I have my first *tiny* harvest of the season in my outdoor garden, so it’s a #FreshHarvestFriday? Lol
First cucumber from my Early Fortune plantβ€”a little wonky on the shape, but hoping they’ll straighten out when I can get a trellis and not just have to MacGyver with sticks and ties…come on, pay day (teacher salary pay once a month is rough lol).
And first little stalk harvest from my hyssop plant, Ezov. I use the dried leaves in the soaps and candles I make for my Etsy shop, as hyssop is great for healing bruises, cuts, burns, helps with dry skin and eczema and rashes. And I use the flowers in some of my tea blends that I make, great for sore throats, coughs, indigestion and upset tummy. It’s also a plant frequently mentioned and used in the Bible for spiritual cleansing and healing, indigenous and other spiritual practices use it as well. ✨ So happy #FreshLeafFriday Greg community and #FreshHarvestFriday πŸ˜‚ #Cucumber #hyssop #OutdoorGrowing #outdoorgardens #VeggieGardens #herbalism #herbgarden
These look amazing! I just saw your post. I especially love the last picture!
@sarahsalith thank you Sarah! Hopefully have some good tomatoes coming soon too πŸ™‚
