Challenging myself to grow a Queen Anthurium
Challenge Accepted! Grow a #QueenAnthurium #Warocqueanum from an unrooted chonk. Ill show you the new growth in 6 months π«π³ #SlowGrowers #scaredioverwatered
Attempting to root in moss with a LECA false bottom @ 80% RH under T5 lighting enclosed in a cloche that I vent daily. I have been lightly misting the moss that covers the node (not shown in this picture) I know almost nothing about Anthurium so this is a journey. The node has been acclimating to this environment for about 3 weeks now and tiny little fibers of what appears to be the most fragile roots ever are starting to appear.

@ForFoxSake I know this isnβt related but I feel like you know lots about terrariums, any tips on how you could put plants that like bright light and plants that like indirect/filtered light in the same open terrarium (I thought about putting a material over certain parts of the light but no idea what material to use it will be a 2 foot full spectrum led light if that matters
@Lithopslover without knowing too much about your terrarium setup I would suggest that you use vertical space to place your direct light βcanopy plantsβ to cast shadows down on your βforest floorβ plants. If using a 2ft LED light you could position it towards the back half of the aquarium so that the taller plants filter the light naturally and provide enough ambient light for your more delicate plants
@ForFoxSake genius!
