Omg guys let's go!! I got a new year's gift from my tuition teacher! We share love for plants! I couldn't take a pic, so I got a picture from the web! I'd appreciate any care tips #newgrowth #proudplantmommoment #plantcorner #rareplants #outdoorgrowing #plantlove #plantmommy #gardenlove #planttherapy #plantid #gregfam #balconyview #greggers #terracegarden #pothos #syngonium #succulentsquad #succulents
@StarryKentia💚💚💚 I've never seen a Kalanchoe that looks like that! It's beautiful! 😍 I have 2 Kalanchoe's, not that species but I'm assuming care is the same. I have mine outside most of the time but have been bringing it in at night because it's been 50° f or lower lately. I have it under a South facing patio so it gets plenty of sunlight and I let it dry out between waterings. That's about it. It is so cool that you can share the love of plants with your teacher and was super sweet of them to get it for you. ðŸĪ—💚 Surprise plants are my favorite!
Gorgeous! 😍 Looks like a variegated lavender scallops. Kalanchoe are summer dormant succulents, so (depending on your hemisphere) it's either smack dab in the middle of their growing season or the middle of their dormant season 😛 It's winter here, so my lavender scallops and other Kalanchoe are in the brightest windows in my house, soaking up the less-intense winter sunlight. In the hotter months I move them further away, since too much direct sun can scorch them (also to make room for my summer growers like echeverias, lithops, and sempervivums). During that time of year, indirect or filtered light is best, and they'll also need less frequent waterings. I know they're ready for water when the leaves start looking a bit wrinkly 😛
@princesspitstop and @stephonicle.
Thanks so much both of you! And yeah it is a lavender scallop! Even I didn't know this type of kalanchoe existed! I'm glad it does tho, cus its honestly so gorgeous!
