Im actually terrified to repot this ZZ that was gifted to me😭 Im pretty sure it’s majority rhizomes (i call them potatoes) than soil! Might have to cut open the pot but we’ll see lol…
@ihugtrees I heard that ZZ plants love to be snuggled in, but check the roots first. It looks beautiful!

My gran's ZZ's hasn't been repotted in more than a decade. The rhizomes are showing, but overall plant does fine. It's not really giving lots of new shoots, but it's flowering
@Araceae yea ik a lot of plants like spider plants shoot out more new growth and flower when crammed in but over a decade is really impressive!
