This is the reason that, by far, the Rex Begonia variegation is my number one favorite plant species!! There are just SO MANY completely different looking species out there and each one is more wonderfully weirder than the last!! The Escargot is hands down in my top 3 Begoina. To me, it actually looks like a knitted wool!!! I think it’s one of the coolest looking plants period! @HipIvorytowers I found the exact opposite lol they're my easiest plants to care for! I never top water, and only use rain or distilled water, and they do really like loads of light. Try again with the begonias, they're worth it! They're all so different and whimsical 😊
@MilkyParfait aw man…I don’t think an Escargot begonia would survive an over seas trip like that, do you?
I actually just ordered two begonia and I had to put the order on hold bc with the temps outside the seller was concerned they would survive the trip and that’s only shipping from Tx to Pa in the US! I can only imagine an over seas trip this time of year…I can’t imagine they would make it. That stinks!!
I wonder if there is some way I can get seeds from it and mail the seeds to you🤔 I know absolutely NOTHING about that stuff tho…I don’t know the first thing about even trying to attempt that!!! lol
