Hello everyone!!! #GregGang I’ve recently gotten into colocasias and wow am I obsessed!! The big green one I found at a local farmers market for 10 dollars and the little black ones I found at Home Depot yesterday for 5 each! Big score!!! 😍Went ahead and put them all together in one big pot. I am open to any suggestions or help as I am new to caring for these! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #Colocasia #ElephantEar #OutdoorGrowing

These are tough one I have 2 but they are small. They need extremely high humidity to stay pretty. 60-80% or else they get crispy dried out leaves. As long as you keep the humidity high and the temp between 60-80 degrees.
NEVER expose them to temps below 50 degrees.
Use well draining soil. I keep mine in:
1/3 peat moss
1/3 perlite
1/3 orchid bark
And they are close to my humidifier. You want their soil moist but not wet.
Avoid direct sun from 10-2 it will burn their leaves.
Also, check them regularly for spider mites, they love these plants and are attracted to their scent.
Congrats on your new plants they are beautiful! 🩷
