#CactusBox update. It's been 7 months since the last photo (check the community tag) This is the same box. 😲😲😲 So much #NewGrowth! #CactusClique #SucculentSquad #RJGsYard #BackyardGreenhouse
@Jana85 @vvvelo @kscape @SirLiquorice let's start using #CactusBox for cacti/succulent arrangements until we can figure out how to get them in Greg properly.
@RJG sure! I really love that brown bowl planter! I love the monstrose cactus and gasteria, too!
#boxofsuccs lol πŸ˜† or #succsbox
@RJG πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ‘
@RJG I am joint all of them, just in case lol
@Jana85 did you see the sunburned hawthoria πŸ₯Έ
YES PLEASE!! I’m also building a wooden planter with my bf’s grandpa (since his health is deteriorating) and was planning on placing variegated cacti in it so either #CactusBox or #ThisBoxSuccs 😭πŸ₯ΉπŸ«ΆπŸΌ

@kscape warty?
@RJG haha no I missed him down in there!! You’d think the other plants would shade it enough. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ
@Jana85 they do now. Check the previous post in the tag and you can see how thin the Brazilian prickly pear was
@RJG is this not a Gasteria little warty? πŸ‘€
@kscape oh I actually have no idea it was like a $2 succulent at Home Depot w just "assorted succulent." I've never out effort into IDing it 🫣 so maybe? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ it has 3 pups rn
@RJG bahahaha Airi got me into gasterias, so I recognize them ANYWHERE 🌚🫢🏼 want one so bad πŸ’€
@RJG I love gasterias so much that I have two β€œlittle warty” ones! This one is the biggest one I’ve seen! Mine don’t even have pups. It looks super healthy!
@RJG that prickly pear grew so much!!!!
@Jana85 I have to cut it back twice a season. 😲😲πŸ₯Έ it just got a cut 3 weeks ago.
@RJG wow! I had no idea those grow so fast! That’s a rewarding plant to grow!
@Jana85 it would be but it has the worst thorns of all the prickly pears imo.
Love that ox tounge!!😍😍😍
@RJG your cacti are amazing, you've inspired me and I now have a couple I just love πŸ’•
Since there seems to be cacti experts here, in bought this little one on Thursday at a store that specializes in cacti, air plants and various succulents. They identified it as a Lemaireocereus chende, but there's no plant like that in the Greg plant id section. It's been identified as a hedgehog πŸ¦” cactus, but it's tall and has 7 ribs... Is it really a hedgehog or what the store told me? πŸ€”
That may just not be in Greg yet. I can look into it tomorrow. @Sassylimey
Oh thank you so much @RJG I really appreciate it.
