Hey guys! Been a while, yes I’m still alive and growing plants. Some of my plants are still alive too! πŸ˜‚ it was a rough winter for me and them, but we made it to spring finally! My plants are bouncing back finally. I hope everyone is doing good. I will try to start posting frequently again.

@TidyTigerpear Glad to see you back! Missed seeing your posts and beautiful plants!
So gorgeous @TidyTigerpear πŸ₯°πŸ˜
Oh so nice and healthy. So cool!
I’m happy that almost all of my perennials have made it through the winter and the Hurricane Hell-ene mess didn’t do anything but to blow in some welcome plants like Evening Primrose at the stones bordering my garden of herbs, echinacea & hydrdrangea patch on the side of the house where I planted a stone-surrounded patch of color. Once the hyacinth & daffodil greens are ready to be cut back I might find some other goodies that were not here before the storm. At 3000ft I have also discovered a few Orange Hornweed and a nice Poke plant that I have to moveβ€”-because I don’t want it to grow and spread where it is.
Hey Sweet Girl πŸ’•
I’m glad to see your back and as always, your plants look AHHHHMAZING!
Please try to come back and post more often!!
We miss you and your GORGEOUS plants! You always have the best succulents πŸ₯°β€οΈπŸ₯°
Welcome back! Your succulents are looking great 🀩 My plants and I also had a rough winter so I hear you on that. I'm looking forward to upping my plant care skills and watching my oasis grow.
@TidyTigerpear Some really great looking succulents and I like how you’ve grouped them. I’ve only done it once out of necessity. Four new unexpected plants and no containers so used a 9” saucer. Just scared about overwatering because the container has no drainage. πŸ₯΄ Also 1st time I’ve grouped plants.
How do they survive summer?
@vvvelo they actually do better outdoors during the spring and summet. I live in North Carolina, (during the winter they all come inside) . They do need to be a watered more frequently then if kept indoors under grow lights, and you have to acclimate them so they don’t burn. I’ve always kept them outdoors from spring to summer since I’ve started growing succulents. Not all varieties of succulents can be kept in direct lighting or full sun, on my back porch (where these plants are in the photo). I keep the other varieties that burn easily or can’t be in direct lighting in my screened in porch, the screen filters the sunlight so it isn’t as harsh and doesn’t burn them, but my echeveria, sedeveria, graptopetalum, & sedums, can handle the direct sun, and actually thrive in it!
