#FreshLeafFriday never disappoints!! It’s like the Cure song Friday I’m in Love!! Here is some of my #NewGrowth this week! I’ve had some movers and shakers so I’m feeling pretty proud about now! I think Stormy my πŸͺΊ fern is my favorite grower this time around. #BirdsNestFern #OrchidLovers #BananaPlant #FernFriends #Aglaonema #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #thanksgivingcactus
Here are some other photos of the πŸͺΊ fern. It’s so awesome to watch!
Beautiful and great song/band! πŸ’•πŸ˜Š I'm loving how pink your tradescantia is!
@Shells_Garden I have the same plant but my leaves have turned brown. My watering has been on track and it’s a good spot for light. Any suggestions? Your plant looks amazing!!
@Wallyswonder did you just post separately about your plant? I provided some suggestions on that post. Let me find it and I’ll share again.
@SteffyHazPlants absolutely a great band! Got me through some tough times in my young adult life. Thank you for the compliment on Nannie. I keep her in an indoor greenhouse with makeshift grow lights. She has really turned a pretty pink and she’s quadrupled in size since I moved her to that controlled environment 4 months ago. Here’s a picture of what she looked like when I first got her and the greenhouse in my office. The difference is just crazy.
@Wallyswonder here is my response on your post today. @Wallyswonder to me it looks like your guy is not getting enough sun or humidity. Birds nest ferns thrive in bright indirect light for 4+ hours a day. They also like it warm and humid. I keep mine in a covered green house with grow lights and she has been doing spectacular. I think I would start to introduce more light gradually. Put her in a warm and sunny spot in your house for a few hours a day and then gradually increase the hours. If you don’t have a humidifier, try misting the leaves once or twice a day. There is some great information on care here. https://www.thespruce.com/grow-asplenium-nidus-ferns-1902716
@StarryKentia thank you! I worked hard on that one so I’m pretty proud of him!
@SteffyHazPlants that original photo was only a partial view of the tradescantia (Nannie). I had attached a photo of her as a babe in the other post but I could not add photos in edit and I wanted to share a full photo of her now. I’d be happy to send you a cutting if you want.
