so not ALL my #Ficus plants are shooting out new growth, ...
so not ALL my #Ficus plants are shooting out new growth, but to be fair, the ones that aren’t are dying 😂😂 #ivebeensmokingplantstoo so i’ve decided to take a buncha pics of my growing ficuses and explain who they are in my garden.

#FicusShivereana (named Micus in my garden 😂😂 i let my brother-in-law name it) whose new leaf i was not personally responsible for bc it was coming in when i bought it, but the next one will be all me!
second and third pics are a #FicusReligiosa named “bus stop gutter near jamun” bc i found it in a bus stop gutter near a giant #MalabarPlum that i’ve harvested from before😂😂 all those new leaves are me! when i first brought it home, it had a little leaf that quickly shriveled and died. i assume it wanted to focus more energy on establishing roots in its new home. and i’m glad it did! now she’s pushing out three new leaves at once and has grown about three inches since i adopted it 17 days ago!
fourth is a #FloridaStranglerFig or #FicusAurea named “found on a carrotwood tree near the bus stop” i don’t think i have to explain the reasoning for that 😂😂
fifth pic is a doozy! all three are #FicusAurea plants as well. biggest one at the top of the photo is called “found on my break at work” the white-container one is called “found otw to whole foods after work” and the smallest one actually grew from the roots stuck in the sidewalk after taking “otw to WF” so has been aptly named 😂😂
i’ve added the #BohdiTree as the plant for this post bc it’s my favorite at the moment hehe #FicusGang #FicusFam #NewGrowth #Ficus

since i posted this THREE DAYS AGO the smallest leaf of the religiosa has doubled in size and it’s already put out another and is growing another spike
