Spike is not as β€˜spikey’ as he was when he first joined our family. He had a bright beautiful green hue; but now he looks sunburned and shriveled up. Any thoughts from the #SucculentSquad for this #NewPlantMom ???

Most succulents like direct sunlight. Some, have more delicate leaves that can burn easily so that's probably why you're getting mixed messages. I recently started moving my succulents to the west facing window in my apt, after 3 pm. It's the best sunlight for them and it's not too much. Yes, it's a pain in the butt to move them daily. I'd recommend just permanently moving yours to the West facing. As long as you get good light there. Just keep an eye on them to monitor the growth, color and leaf plumpness. Good luck to you! 😊
More direct sunlight. I'd check the soil as well. Make room to stick your finger all the way into it. It could be staying wet too long or even not watering enough. Your 3 inch pot should need watering every 7 to 10 days depending on how much light it's getting. Try putting it in a West facing window from 3 pm to dusk each day. That's what I've been doing to help mine. I'll show you a current pic. Good luck to you!
@TinaRedchic my baby lost his color. I thought succulents liked direct sunlight, however, in the #GregApp it states this plants don’t like direct sunlight. I get very confused when going in and out of the app. One day I read one thing, the next day I read something different πŸ’”πŸ₯Ί
@TinaRedchic thank you so much
