The light of self-discovery and plants
🌱 one day makes a big difference for plants, it does for me too 🌱
In the spirit of my post the other day, I’m gonna share something else in my life. Recently, I’ve started a new course of therapy, and it’s long overdue I’ll put it that way. The NHS is a beautiful, but massively distressed system.
Anyway, in this process, a therapist I was working with came to the conclusion I might be autistic, and it was light a light came on in my life that just felt right. Like the perfect lamp in the corner of a room that was once pitch black and hard to navigate. I just assumed everyone was the way I am. There are parts of me that seem to make tangible sense now, and that’s been an overwhelming yet good experience.
Plants are not my only obsession, but it explains the feeling I must know as much as I can about them, what makes them happy, what makes them shine like Oscar has recently. I feel accomplished in this obsession, and it’s nice to feel that way about something in my small world.
