I have this string of buttons that looks a little… long. The bottom of the stem is woody, but it gets green toward the top. Would you cut this and replant it? Or just let it continue its long stretch of weird looking leaves? Lol. Any advice on how you would proceed with this plant would be great. Thanks! #StringOfButtons #SucculentSquad #succulentsunday

Honestly, it looks slightly elongated, which is a sign of insufficient sunlight. It's growing in that shape because it's reaching for light. Normally string of buttons are a bit more stacked on top of each other. You can definitely trim it back and propagate the cutting, since it will eventually start to sag from its own weight.
I’m in the same boat. Such struggles with this one. I have it in a good amount of sunlight now but my suspicion is that it doesn’t like how dry it gets
Ditto, same boat - got it from a grocery store and it came in stretched. I chopped off the top and dipped it in rooting powder. Long road ahead.
