New to succulents: need watering advice!
My succulents came in the mail today!! Iβm very new to succs so I hope I potted them up right. Should I give them water now and whatβs the best way to do it? They are SO cute!! I hope I can keep them alive. ππ€πΌ

They're so cute π
Bottom watering is best for succulents so that you don't get any water in the crevasses that can lead to rot. Given the pots they're in that might hard so you could top water as long as you're very careful.
If they have roots already I think you can go ahead and water them as they're probably thirsty from the journey.
If they are cuttings hopefully they were already calloused before you potted them. If so you can wait until they have roots to water. If they are cuttings and they were not calloused then you may want to remove them from their soil and let the ends dry out so they don't rot.
I think that's it, but if I'm wrong somewhere hopefully someone else in the #succulentsquad will correct me.

@tmbryant37 thank you so much! They do have roots.
@vvvelo any tips for @TJphilobsessed since you are our succulent guru?!π
@Those are adorable, I also water my succulents from the bottom. The funny thing is Greg recommends 1/8 of a cup so I get my Tbsp measure out and if the soil is dry they get 2 Tbspβs. All this measuring takes substantially more time to water all the plants, at the same time it is very therapeutic π€πππ
@TJphilobsessed at @tmbryant37 is right π―
Gorgeous succs @TJphilobsessed π₯°
I carefully measure out the water for each of my plants, I mostly only bottom water, but I do have a couple of pots that make bottom watering difficult so I carefully pour the water around the edges of the pot, letting the water soak in away from the plant so it doesn't get into the crevices of the plant.
