My once fully green pothos is now growing leaves that have some (admittedly beautiful) leaves with white I think this little leaf is almost fully white! Is there something I need to do? They are growing in like this!
I thought I had a golden pothos but can someone tell me if it’s different?
1ft to light, indirect

I believe that that is called variegation (when a leaf grows in with different colors), and it just happens randomly (I think it's something in the genetics, but I don't know enough about it to say exactly).

And I don't know if that means that you have a different type of pothos, but I do know that it's not going to hurt your plant. That type of variegation is pretty popular these days since it looks so cool.
Yeah thats a marble queen pothos!! Very beautiful!! If it hadnt shown it till now, that just means it wasnt getting as much sun that it needs to produce the white bits, cause it was trying to soak up as much as possible by being all green. So with variegated plants like yours, it’s actually a sign that it is happy!
Hi Grbby @JazzedJuniper you have a variegated pothos. A golden pothos is a variegated pothos. I can’t really tell from the pics if it’s a golden pothos (yellow variegation) or a marble queen pothos (cream variegation), but the reason it’s suddenly putting out variegated leaves is because it’s receiving plenty of light just like it prefers πŸ€— most variegated plants lose their variegation if they do not receive an adequate amount of light may it be through a grow light or via sunlight. This is completely normal, and how your variegated pothos should look like when it’s healthy and happy!
