Hello #GregFam, haven't updated things on my side for a while. Just some quick plant updates!

Hoya 'Rebecca', my first ever Hoya is doing marvellous! Exploded with new growth and another round of blooms, plus more peduncs on their way!

This is a massive new leaf on a Philo 'Paraiso Verde'. Just so you know, this baby is not on a pole, plus it gets afternoon AND evening sun on sunny days.

Mother Nepenthes x 'Gaya' with new pitchers as the old ones fade. There's something lovely about new pitchers.

Anthurium warocqueanum seedling and Anthurium papi [both selfings] have new leaves, quite happy with how the warocqueanum is taking shape given how they struggle in my lowland climate, the colour on the papi is just beautiful
Philodendron 'Burle Marx's Fantasy' needs a pole extension soon. Just love how big this leaf is, given its a mini-philo. FYI this plant is NOT the same as your regular Philodendron burle-marxii, which is the standard, variegated, mint 'Burle Marx'. This was also found in the late landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx's garden, but is a completely different undescribed species.

Scindapsus 'Jade Satin Aurea', this one is one of the cuttings i took from the mother plant, the other is on a pole and the last is rooting. Gorgeous variegation going on in this new leaf here.

I put my droseras in a little container with sphagnum moss for kind of a little 'bog garden'. The mystery and the rotundifolia are doing well, the burmannii i dunno? Could someone explain what's going on with the burmannii [bottom green one]?
Peperomia prostrata [string of turtles] prop, i cut into two and put in a small pudding jar with sphagnum moss. Not too sure what to do with it honestly, i'd rather it be in a medium-large terrarium but i don't have the glassware or space.

Phalaenopsis deliciosa new leaf. I decided that having it mounted was too much of a hassle, so i potted up in a mix of sphag and coco husk. Love the undulations of the leaves
Final update comment, this is Jellybean. I've had him for about a week now and he's doing well and happy. Still abit camera-shy, this was a lucky shot, but he does come begging for food like a puppy
@Idplantthat @MusicalRedmint and whoever's been wondering where i've gone
I swear Greg doesn't like it when i post photos. This is the Phalaenopsis deliciosa and the pond that Jellybean lives in
@Araceae where to start, where to start! Just wow! 🀩 🀯🀯πŸ₯° These are some truly amazing, beautiful plants you have growingβ€” first I LOVE πŸ’• the veining on your BMF! It’s amazing veining, I mean gorgeous! Your anthurium colors are gorgeous! Your papi almost have a blue undertone, or is that just me and not being able to see things clearly 🀣 (I do have terrible vision) your Hoya is so cute! πŸ₯° love your verde and your pictures are so beautiful they must be eating well! Lastly, Jellybean is not only an adorable name, but also how beautiful are those colors on it! I grew up with fish like that. My dad loved them, I’m not a scaled person but I can appreciate them. 🀣
Oh Araceae! I was going to tell you I got a variegated dark phoenix anthurium, a golden jenmanii, and lastly azlanii red mambo variegated! I mean, have others that came, but these are ones we talked about on our wishlist lol
@Araceae @Idplantthat I also don’t know where to start!! But Jellybean is so cute! And beautiful. What amazing colors!

I had no idea about phaleonopsis deliciosa 😱 the ruffly leaf edges are amazing! And the burle Marx fantasy is so special, my goodness!

I’ve been running around in chaos but my wishlist anthurium clarinervum and alocasia dragon’s breath came last night! They were in the Mail for 8 days, I was so nervous, but they not looking as bad as I feared. The dragons breath looks the worst on top, but the roots were excellent. The anythurium pretty much looked unscathed! The heat pack appeared to be long gone, but luckily it got much warmer this week and night time temps didnt drop below 45Β°. I also got a delivery of some special soil blends from one of my favorite plant shops and I’m so excited about them. So far I’ve used β€œpray for us” blend on my alocasia, and the β€œb*tches love Hoyas” blend on a rooted Hoya cutting. Can’t wait to see how they do! 😁
If I’m slow to the night, I’m sorry my Frenchie decided he wants to cuddle my face. - literally (and I literally used that correctly) 🀣🀣
@DreamMachine I definitely think you’ll have a great comeback. Just being careful trimming off the dead, it’s sometimes better to pot it, let it sit a few days, then snip back your dead leaves… or even longer. It’s so the plant doesn’t have more shock by having its leaves cut.
@DreamMachine and your blends sound super great! I’m excited to see what plants before and after are! You should be a plant influencer; you’d be great at it! I’m excited to see your silicone in action with these new plants!
@DreamMachine sorry, me… again… I know! 🫣🫠 but I was going to tell you I had this cinnamon tree in my greenhouse and it just didn’t make it. I’m not great with things I love the smell of, I’m not a very good hands-off person. Anywho - I was throwing out the soils and breaking down the branches for mulch just a little. Anyone had clear life in it, it doesn’t have roots I could find so it was definitely dying off anyway- I put it in a cup with a little silicone then wrapped Saran paper and out popped out two very small little roots! I’m so excited
@Araceae, make sure to post more pictures of your beautiful plants! I love seeing them.
@Idplantthat LOL Heidi @princesspitstop was just saying I should too. Okay this is my push! Someone else just asked me too. I just would rather be called a β€œplant real person” 😁😁 And yay! That poor leaf is still on there. I totally leaf them on until they’re falling off.

What a cute pup!! 😱😭πŸ₯° snuggling your face 🫢🏼πŸ₯°
Hey, congrats. Your first bloom so soon on those hoyas πŸ₯³ and I'm still in love with that special peperomia
Btw: we are in sync with our orchid mounts. During the last stressful months I just haven't been able to keep up with them. Only mount left is my leptotes bicolor. and it's suffering through it, but there is no way it would survive in a pot I think.
@DreamMachine YES!!! SEE!! Pay attention ma'am!The Universe is trying to tell you something! πŸ₯°
@Idplantthat OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE VARIEGATED ANTHURIUMS! Post pics when they come! And vry cute pup!
@DreamMachine it's def not a standard phalaenopsis ☺️. It is a very thirsty one tho, the thin-ish leaves i guess don't store as much water. The Dragons Breath will recover soon! And very cool mixes, the names are great 🀣
@MusicalRedmint thank you! The only mount i have now is my Phal.finleyi, i guess it's surviving just coz it's currently dormant so less water intake. But it really is a hassle to keep up with watering. The next closest things i have to a mount is my Neofinetia in a basket, which i mist the charcoal and sphag daily, and a little cork raft with moss and tiny baby anthuriums on, but coz they're in the mini pond they stay moist 24/7
@Araceae Queens are my favorite ❀️. Absolutely gorgeous!
Just WOW!
