So wowed by this reverting Birkin (revirkin), and she looks like she could be three different philodendron cultivars. So unique, hence her name. #philodendronbirkin #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

oh wowww! So pretty!

I think I want a philodendron Birkin now πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
@SageTreeheather, thank you! They're wonderful. I initially had trouble keeping them alive, but I think light made the difference. And a pole. This is my other one.
@wolfwoman so these are climbers too? I know most philos are, but I didn’t think my birkin or prince of orange would climb with how bushy they are! Do they grow bigger on poles?
@GeorgiaJungle, I know that Birkins are self-heading. I put them on a pole before I knew that, lol. My Congo Rojo is also self-heading and on a pole. The light source is coming from in front and not above, so the plants are growing like they are climbers, i.e. having a "front." They've even got little aerial roots, so I think they've learned to mimic climbing.
@wolfwoman I actually started mine on my living wall hoping it would climb since it’s a philo. Then it started filling out and I was like β€œoh, it’s not going to work here,” so it’s now in a pot. But after seeing yours, he might go back up on the wall! Thanks for sharing the pics!
@GeorgiaJungle, of course, no problem! Maybe you can change his behavior, too, lol. Good luck. 😊
@GeorgiaJungle, I found this just now when I put "My Birkin is climbing" into Google.
