Fuzzy roots?

My monstera has fuzzy roots?! I usually bottom water and today I checked the bottom and noticed that the “cover pot” I put my monstera in had some left over water from a previous watering. I probably did not let the plant drain throughly before putting him back in his spot. I don’t see any visible changes on the leads yet. Is this normal? What should I do? #Monstera

Well it looks like it's time to repot! And fuzzy roots are normal for new root I believe. Next time make sure the water has completely drained out. Good luck CC 😉

Repot it and take it out of the cover pot! it’s not able to drain and could cause Root rot!  it needs to be able to drain out the bottom!

have you repotted already? sometimes roots will stray away from the inside of the pot but that doesn’t always mean you need to repot. roots do grow fuzzy at first! it’s weird to see
