@reese.rae thank you! I bought it at the local thrift store for $4. I knew it would be perfect for a small succulent. Apparently these Toby jugs were widely popular in the 1930’s in England. This one is a remake that was modeled after an old English watchman named Charley. I thought it was an Irish leprechaun until I did more research on it. My husband thinks it’s creepy but I love it!
@reese.rae I forgot to ask, what medium are you using? It looks like a combo of orchid bark and something else but I’m not sure. I’m just curious as I have mine in cactus soil right now. Thanks
@Shells_Garden I’m not exactly sure, I’ve kept it in the soil it came in when I bought it and I’m not sure what the label said
@reese.rae that’s okay. Thanks anyway. I’m just curious as I’ve been debating whether to go with a combo of soil and orchid bark or lecca/pebbles when I transplant it into a bigger pot in the spring. Your plant is thriving so I figured it loves whatever medium it is in!
