@USAGardenHub I have a wooden cop stick I stick into the soil about half way down my pot if it comes out dry with no soil on it I water if it's a bit moist with soil on it I wait a few more days and check again till it's dry completely then I give it a very good even drench with food in the water almost every time

I have had one growing for a year and a half now. What I do know is they love it humid. The biggest struggle has been maintaining the right temp for it…I live in Tennessee. I water it very cautiously by sticking finger as far down in it to feel for moisture. I’m far from fruit bearing , but so far so good. I’ve definitely had to baby it🩵let me know ur progress
I have one got it straight from the pineapple itself. I was finely able to plant it last week. Had to wait for the roots to get about 3 inches long before planting
