Does anyone know what these things are?? I have recently put this english ivy into a terrarium and kept it pretty humid so I am thinking maybe they’re roots?? Please help lol should i chop it off and add it back to the pot?

@Madhathaway23 They look like Aerial roots. English Ivy's use them to grab on to things to grow upwards as well as to take moisture out of the air. They are very prolific and will take a hold of whatever it can and completely take over. You could cut them off or if you want it to grow up, say a brick wall or something, you can leave them and train the ivy to do so.
@princesspitstop thank you so much!! they didn’t last very long lol. They dried up:(
@Madhathaway23 It happens especially if they don't have something moist to grab a hold of. You could get a moss pole for it if you wanted to.
@princesspitstop i might have to do that! thanks again
