Forgot to post these the other day, for #WhatTheSuccWednesday #WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday 💚
1. Varigated Melon Spurge, her baby is getting so big! If I wanted to ever separate them, how would I go about that? Would I slice it off with a clean tool? Or would I kinda tug and twist it ? Should I wait for it to get bigger ? I normally don’t separate my babies/pups but I would love to have another one of these!
2. Graptoveria ‘Opalina’ , I love how she is constantly changing colors!
3. Crown Of Thorns ‘Bicolor’ , I’m still learning her habits & preferences, I currently have her outside in full sun, and water once a week because she seems to get droopy pretty quick if I don’t. I bottom soak her and let her dry out completely before I water again. Any tips on this one would be appreciated! 🌱
4. Prolific Echeveria, it’s grown lots of of babies, but there is this one super long growth & I’m not sure what that’s about. This emerged around the same time it flowered, at first I thought it was another flower stalk, but it’s not clearly 🤣 I’m just wondering why it’s so long ? It gets plenty of light, I didn’t know if there was a name or reason for this? Her other babies are much more compact and closer to the mother.
5. Cliff cotyledon, so cute & chonky 🤗 lots of new growth!

Ooh, your Opalina is so pretty! Mine are really pink right now with the cooler nights we've been having. 🩷🩷🩷
C'mon Kaitlyn, you should know the answer to these questions. 🤣🤣🤣.
You're such a prankster LOL
@SvelteKingfern hahah even I, the succulent pro has questions about things 🤣 no joke ! Serious questions but yet no one seems to ever take my questions seriously apparently cause I only get answers if I post them under “ask question” instead of “create post” lol !
Good on you Kaitlyn 😄🤗
@TidyTigerpear I don't have any cacti, but I imagine you'd want to use a clean knife and slice the pup off close to the mother plant. 10/10 use tongs to handle it lol. I personally like to leave the pups on the mother plants until they start developing their own root system. Up to you of course 💚
@Charli3Plant that’s what I was thinking too, (waiting till it developed some roots) before slicing and dicing that puppy 😅🔪 it’s kinda scary doing that for the first time, cause I don’t want to lose it if it doesn’t take 😫 but you gotta take risks or you’ll never get results 🤓
@TidyTigerpear that's true. When in doubt, just wait for the pup to grow bigger. There's no harm in leaving it attached :)
