I usually just pinch the very top of each branch when they get long enough.
You don't have any branches to pinch yet, but you might pinch off the newest leaf-pair on top, that way the branches will start growing further down the stem too😊
Here is a pic of one of mine before and after the winter-trimming if that might be of help😄 (this is a heavy trim, I take just the tips now and then during the growing-season too).
