Just spent an hour emergency repotting my foxtail fern because it had ants, Iβve never repotted a plant with tuberous roots before!! So many roots! I didnβt know my poor plant was so root bound Iβll definitely be checking up on my foxtail ferns more in the future. But I got BOTH my foxtail ferns repotted and theyβre much happier Iβm sure. π
I lost quite a few of the bulbs during repotting and I wonder if I can do anything with them..? hopefully my plants didnβt lose too many, there still seemed to be quite a lot in there. (first two pics are roots, third is the bulbs that were lost, last is a photo of the plants all potted up with some extra room to grow now.) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #BeforeAndAfter floweringPlants">#floweringPlants #FernFriends #FoxtailFern #PlumeAsparagus

@phytologyfan all the ones that fell off were squishy and/or oddly shaped from being crushed against the side of the small pot and either holding too much water or not enough (I couldnβt tell) upon further inspection :( but the ones on the plant still look okay so possibly healthier ones next time I repot π₯²
