Iโ€™m so hurt. I asked maybe a month ago about why Tasha was thriving but also looking like she was dying. I canโ€™t remember who, but they said check for bands at the roots.

I was intimidated about repotting it, so I took it to a nursery. Immediately the employee said she looked really healthy! I was like yay. I walked away. She came back and said they couldnโ€™t repot it because she had spider mites. And I was like..WHERE?! There was no webbing or markings on the leaves anywhere. She said she saw white stuff in the soil. (Which I read could be soil mites)

I took her home, gave her a bath & spray down. Not one pest in sight. Finally repotted her today & she lost so many leaves but was indeed bounded by bands at the trunk. Iโ€™m hurt..I think they just didnโ€™t feel like repotting it. But here is to new beginnings, I hope. ๐Ÿฅน

@liv91109 thank you! I would have respected them just saying no they canโ€™t repot it. Since she was so healthy Iโ€™m trying to think positive. But I really want to cry.
Well you did a great job and honestly, it wouldnโ€™t hurt to treat for insects just in case. Sheโ€™s a beauty and she will rebound and replace all of those gorgeous leaves that were lost.
@GaryPoopins thank you so much. I did! Iโ€™m going to spray her down one more time for safety.
Oh no, Iโ€™m sorry you had that experience. Money trees are super resilient tho! She will bounce back in no time, plus she seems to be in good hands โ˜บ๏ธ

Hi Tyeasha! I was just wondering how your baby is doing? Also, I hope you are well and havenโ€™t suffered from the hurricane. ๐ŸŒธ
@SillyPlantGirl hi! Sheโ€™s still struggling but showing signs of life so Iโ€™m not giving up on her. Thanks so much again for thinking of me!
