Hello everyone,I am brand new to the gardening community,and I would appreciate any advice on how to take care of aloe plants,as I've been given some cuttings,also meet my first plant!

It looks like you have a Haworthiopsis (formerly called Haworthia) there!

Since you've got your plant card filled out it will give you feedback about what your plant does and does not like so be sure to check it out!

Personally, I do not do well with succulents and yours is actually one I've had really great success with! So I'd say it's a great starter plant. The leaves store water which is why they are plump. This means you don't need to water it often, it likes to have its soil dry out and if the leaves look a little thing it probably needs a drink. Succulents usually love as much light as possible, though I've found this one is ok with a bit less. Also, if the light isn't directly above it you'll want to rotate it so it doesn't just grow sideways.
