Invasive Species Spotlight: Japanese Knotweed πͺ΄ this is a kind of cool looking plant in Pennsylvania and other areas of the north eastern United States. It dies off each winter and and grows new shoots each spring that reach approximately six or 7 feet tall. It is very hard to get rid of once it gets established. It looks like bamboo and Iβve always kind of been fascinated with it even though it is considered invasive I was just wondering what invasive species other Gregorβs around the world deal with in thier outdoor spaces. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #invasiveplants #invasivespecies #NEPAGregGang #NEPAGardening
@Hex_ADHD omg! π yes that counts! lol down by my dads house there was always poison oak that climbed up the locust trees by the driveway. I have been very fortunate to only have minor brushes with any sort of poison ivy in my life. My little brother, not so much, he is horribly allergic. Has anybody been bitten by the poison Ivy on your garage?
@Hex_ADHD I was just going back through my notifications because I always miss some, and saw your name pop up. I hope you donβt mind but I wanted to ask about your oasis name. Does the hex part relate back to adhd or not so much?. It reminds me of something someone said in a group Iβm in, something about not t starting from square one, but having to start from hexagon oneβ¦. Something like that. lol it made me think. π€ but Iβm always looking for adhd support/tips and tricks/ information because itβs a huge battle of mine. Note that Iβm not working right now. On that note!, I will definitely try to catch up with you later. π
