I know it's been more than a hot minute since I posted but life ...
I'd like to ask y'all join me in welcoming my granddaughter, ๐Ÿ˜ Alyshia @Unknownanswers to our Greg community. She's loving large leaf philodendrons, anthuriums etc. and I know @AnthuriumQueen can answer any questions she may have. I'm no help, Hoyas are my loves ๐Ÿ˜‰
Planty mail is the best picker upper. So excited with my first order this year from Plant Proper. 2 more gorgeous Hoyas to add to my collection.
Meet Coko a Hoya Chouke and Tilda a Hoya Mathilde Splash.

@Unknownanswers Welcome, Alyshia! Great to have you in Greg! When you have a chance, tell us something about your plants #OhioGang #Zone6ers
@AC73LoveCats thank you, sorry for a late reply! I am new to getting into plants, I started last year and I started woth propagating spider plant babies but unfortunately they all died. I then got a golden pothos, and built my collection from there. My favorite plants I have noticed I like the best while looking at different ones online tend to be philodendrons which I have 3 of now
@Unknownanswers Sounds great!
@AC73LoveCats @Unknownanswers Whoops! I posted too fast. I wanted to say, let us know how your plant work comes along over time and what new kinds you try. Did your grandma get you started?
@AC73LoveCats yes she did, after seeing her plant collection I was excited to get into them more. I already had a couple plants but she got me into wanting other ones. I have a golden pothos, a snake plant and a monstera adansonii (given to me by my grandmother) a FLF, a ruby ficus, a PPP, a lemon like heart leaf philodendron, and today a new addition of a white princess philodendron, (Iโ€™m not sure what the difference between the white knight, wizard, or princess is so Iโ€™m guessing)
That sounds so interesting and fun! I had a neighbor across the street from me when I was a young girl and she always planted a flower garden. I went over to admire it, and that got me started. She mentored me with outdoor plants and then house plants, and gave me much advice and some starts of plants. So I was always interested in plants and planting after that, but got much more into it in the last couple years. I always plant tomatoes and flowers and sometimes zucchini, and now enjoy my house plants, some of which I take outside in the summer.
