๐Ÿ“ธ Photo dump of some of my unusual and/or rare succulentsโ€ฆ

1) Lithops lesliei v hornii 'Greenhorn' - My first successful lithops bloom!๐Ÿ˜ƒ
2) E. unguiculata
3) Korean E. 'Tinkerbell'
4) Korean E. 'Snow Bunny'
5) Pleiospilos nelii 'Split Rock' - survived 6 seasons with me outside and is splitting again!

P.S. The lithops / split rock Iโ€™ve been growing outside on a wire rack on my open deck with a sheer plastic covering to protect from rainโ€ฆ I think I watered the lithops a total of 6 times this year (I got it in April)! They are now in the garage under grow lights due to the massive humidity this fall.

Love them @roxyvivien, gorgeous!
Your collection, ocd & perfection just never disappoints ๐Ÿฅฒ as always, theyโ€™re looking gorgeous !
@Artistic_Stoner @FairyFly Thank you! ๐Ÿฅฐ
I love that second one! Iโ€™ve never seen this beautiful beauty!
@roxyvivien Gorgeous!!
Gorgeously happy plants, thank you for sharing
@Idplantthat Me too! I was surprised to learn that is was not a hybrid grown solely in cultivation but it is native to central/western Mexico! Although this one was definitely grown in cultivation from seed. ๐Ÿ™‚
How beautiful. They look so perfect ๐Ÿ˜
I love your lithops. I have one too which is fairly new to me. It seems to be getting a little leggy. Is that normal?
@roxyvivien thatโ€™s so cool! ๐Ÿ˜Ž It really does look like a hybrid (Iโ€™d definitely think ๐Ÿค” you would think it was ๐Ÿ˜‚) Iโ€™m gonna have to look into it, Iโ€™m curious how low it goes as far as climates.
Snow bunny js beautiful!!!! And I love lithops ๐Ÿ˜
@ThoroughRedflax I agree, I love the unique shape of Snow Bunnyโ€™s rosette. It looks like a cute little closed up claw :)
@forbes57 For optimal growth they shouldnโ€™t get leggy.Yours probably needs more light. I grow mine outside with 3-6 hours of direct sun spring through fall and under strong grow lights (approx 16,000 luxe) in the winter that are on for 13 hours. It took me a couple years to really figures these guys out, but it was worth the efforts. They are so cute and once the growing conditions are just right, require very little care. Best of luck! :)
@roxyvivien ๏ฟผ Heโ€™s in the window right now. Maybe Iโ€™ll move them outside after the holidays. Greg says he should be in a different pot too.
Definitely wait to move outside until the weather is warmer and the sun is brighter. I try to wait until the outside temps are similar to inside before I move plants in and out so as not to shock them too much. If itโ€™s very humid where you live they will prefer inside under a grow light.

They look a little crowded in there as well as a bit leggyโ€ฆ the soil line should be higher, which can be adjusted with a repot. The soil also looks like commercial nursery soil with high organic materialsโ€ฆCould definitely use a repot with some gritty soil thatโ€™s at least 80% inorganic medium. If you provide the right growing medium most any pot will do. I use cement, partially glazed clay or plastic. But youโ€™ll have to provide adequate light/temps after a repot for them to survive. You could probably not water them all winter and just deal with it all in the spring. These guys can live for a long time without water but can die after a single water under the wrong conditions. Good luck! :)
