1) Lithops lesliei v hornii 'Greenhorn' - My first successful lithops bloom!๐
2) E. unguiculata
3) Korean E. 'Tinkerbell'
4) Korean E. 'Snow Bunny'
5) Pleiospilos nelii 'Split Rock' - survived 6 seasons with me outside and is splitting again!
P.S. The lithops / split rock Iโve been growing outside on a wire rack on my open deck with a sheer plastic covering to protect from rainโฆ I think I watered the lithops a total of 6 times this year (I got it in April)! They are now in the garage under grow lights due to the massive humidity this fall.

Love them @roxyvivien, gorgeous!
@Artistic_Stoner @FairyFly Thank you! ๐ฅฐ
@roxyvivien Gorgeous!!
@Idplantthat Me too! I was surprised to learn that is was not a hybrid grown solely in cultivation but it is native to central/western Mexico! Although this one was definitely grown in cultivation from seed. ๐
@roxyvivien thatโs so cool! ๐ It really does look like a hybrid (Iโd definitely think ๐ค you would think it was ๐) Iโm gonna have to look into it, Iโm curious how low it goes as far as climates.
@ThoroughRedflax I agree, I love the unique shape of Snow Bunnyโs rosette. It looks like a cute little closed up claw :)
@forbes57 For optimal growth they shouldnโt get leggy.Yours probably needs more light. I grow mine outside with 3-6 hours of direct sun spring through fall and under strong grow lights (approx 16,000 luxe) in the winter that are on for 13 hours. It took me a couple years to really figures these guys out, but it was worth the efforts. They are so cute and once the growing conditions are just right, require very little care. Best of luck! :)
@roxyvivien ๏ฟผ Heโs in the window right now. Maybe Iโll move them outside after the holidays. Greg says he should be in a different pot too.
Definitely wait to move outside until the weather is warmer and the sun is brighter. I try to wait until the outside temps are similar to inside before I move plants in and out so as not to shock them too much. If itโs very humid where you live they will prefer inside under a grow light.
They look a little crowded in there as well as a bit leggyโฆ the soil line should be higher, which can be adjusted with a repot. The soil also looks like commercial nursery soil with high organic materialsโฆCould definitely use a repot with some gritty soil thatโs at least 80% inorganic medium. If you provide the right growing medium most any pot will do. I use cement, partially glazed clay or plastic. But youโll have to provide adequate light/temps after a repot for them to survive. You could probably not water them all winter and just deal with it all in the spring. These guys can live for a long time without water but can die after a single water under the wrong conditions. Good luck! :)
