Good morning #brunchataudreys gang! Thanks to @RefinedSandwort for your sweet post a couple of days ago saying you miss the brunch gang. Me too! But as @TheConservator added the commitment is a lot of work. We tried having a schedule…but with time that’s kinda faded. Anyhoooo I say go ahead and add #brunchataudreys to any of your posts. Sadly we still can’t search 🔍 but you can look at old posts and hit the #brunchataudreys to see what’s been posted 🤷♀️. I post something every Tuesday. I think @CourtlyKingfern posts pretty regularly on Mondays. She’s been enjoying wedding 💒 👰♀️ 🤵♂️ festivities so definitely immersed in that 🥰. I see @stephonicle @PrizedShadscale @elisenavidad @BabeVila and recently @Chevysgirl11 posting pretty regularly so we can keep it going🙌 and stay in touch! So what’s happening in your Oasis today? My wayettii is loaded with peduncles flowers 🌺 and dripping nectar. Had to put a cloth down under her she’s so drippy🤭! #brunchataudreys @MariansOasis Good Morning! 🌞 cloudy today here in NM, not much sun. Had to repot my Chinese Evergreen Siam “WALL-E” he was basically leaning out of his planter. So he went from a studio to a condo! 😂 Also while I was away my 🐍 Plant aka “Senora” pup grew huge in size! 😳😉 Everyone have a great Tuesday on purpose! 😉 Pictures below ⬇️

@TheConservator it seems like most of the people who were active in Brunch are in The Thread 🧵 now so yay 🎉 I probably won’t have the time to get involved in 2 busy group posts. The threads get very long and TLDR sets in 😵💫😮💨. But if @Prentyce or @Araceae or anyone else wants to give it a go, that’s cool too! @Plants_Galore just posted his school stress is over 🙌 so there’s another day filled. 🫡
@Plants_Galore hey Nathan perhaps you could do a weekend post? Combine Sat/Sun post keeping the thread for 2 days. See how much response you get and if it’s a lot then we could just split back to the individual days.
@MariansOasis im sure it gets even harder to make the commitment when people arent involved in the post. Its starts feeling pointless. That being said, doing a 2 day post for weekends is prob a good idea. My thing is akways consistemcy with anything. So if you wNted to do 2 day pists or weekly pists i think thats fine! It doesnt even have to be daily. Just consistent to the guidelines laid out
And its hard for me to be really active here with #TheThread going😤🤷♂️. But you never know maybe sone people here dont like me or someone else at the thread so they dont join in there! So it might be good for me to kinda stay in the shadows lol
Good afternoon! Glad to see that there is interest in getting us back on track. Got my hubby to the endoscopy center and to Waffle House for a noontime breakfast. I’ve finished the watering chores and got fresh nectar out for the hummers. Now to relax and enjoy the rest of the day off. Not much new with my succulents. We do have a bloom on a peace lily given to use after my Dad diet in June 2103. The plant has struggled but is still alive and putting out new growth.
@RefinedSandwort yesterday was hummingbird feeder day for me 🧽. Today is 🪴 💦 day There are 30 on the schedule 🗓️ 🖊️. I didn’t do 7 from Sunday… it just hasn’t been sunny or warm so they didn’t need 💦. I didn’t snooze 💤 them either cause I thought I’d do them Monday but nooooo 🤪 😆
@MariansOasis My watering chores is more checking for moisture than actual watering! My succulents do not seem to dry out as quickly now that there is no heat running and it’s hot and humid. Some mornings I just don’t have time to bother! We’ve turned on ceiling fans at times, but haven’t run the air conditioning yet.
@MariansOasis I can take Wednesday if no one else is signed up. I don’t want to step on someone else’s place.

@Hoyaobsessed wyetti is the one im boubd and determined to get to flower this year. Ive had 2 for 5 yrs now and not one bloom! But ive cut from them alot! Im convinced thats part of blooming probs.

@TheConservator question… I found a bunch of bulbs on sale.. I’d have to plant them next spring … would they still be good next spring ?
If you keep them in cold storage it should. My ex use to buy bags of bulbs and kept them in the freezer to use whenever she wanted in pots. Id assume you can do it longer though . You may have to figure out what the forcing bloom time is for each if you choose to do that. Each bulbs different from what i remember. But tbh im no bulb master lol. Obviously by my identification of 2 common bulbs 😂🤷♂️ @Hoyaobsessed sorry forgotvto tag you last night !
Your Hoya blooms are beautiful 🤩 @MariansOasis can’t wait for one of my Hoyas to bloom. I don’t even care if it makes a mess I just want to see one in person lol. Life has been so busy I barely have time to post on here but I had to share my excitement! I bought a one leaf cutting of a monstera albo a year ago and it finally gave me a leaf. I honestly thought it was going to die but she pulled through and I happy danced all over my living room 🥰😁! I bought a one leaf cutting of an aurea monstera a couple months ago and it’s giving me my 1st leaf too 😯. I’m the Happiest plant mama at this moment! The Albo is the cup in the back.

@MariansOasis awesome. That’s so exciting. Several of my anthurium just went into cataphyll and my clarinurivium is flowering for the second time. Hopefully seeds soon.
