Dog hobble 🐕 is a perennial here in the mountains of WNC. As the leaves come off the over-story and they get more sun they start to turn burgundy for the winter. Unless they are shaded by something else like rhododendron in which case they will stay their same deep summer green. The seed pods are also quite delicate. #FallColors #WinterIsComing
