Hey so not so good updates on my swiss cheese monstera, i’m pretty frustrated.
It originally had some yellow spots on some leafs so i sprayed neem oil to all of them and also repotted it and checked for root rot which it hadn’t.
And now the leafs are turning yellow while the soil is still moist. Could it be overwatering? I’ve had this plant for 1 and 1/2 years and it has always been healthy. Maybe it needs to adapt to it’s new pot? I don’t know please help #SwissCheeseVine
Overwatering damages roots by preventing them from absorbing oxygen, which keeps the plant from getting the water and nutrients
That's how mine was looking too! It ended up having root rot from overwatering, but since you said you just repotted it, lots of plants undergo "shock" after repotting. Sometimes the shock will last for a few days to a week or so
My swiss is having the same problem. I also checked for root rot and repotted. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ I’m trying misting since it’s hot here.
Too much water
Mine recently lost all the leaves. I cut it up where nodes would be and placed it in water with a lid. It's growing again ! Not sure why it threw a fit but it's fixing to have new leaves again soon and be ready to be replanted. I also threw the roots in the water to and they sprouted! So yeah not all is lost
Heyyyyyyy.. @FlashyDracaena
That happened to mines also, I took him out the soil and put him in a water vase for awhile, I'll repot him back soon.
He's definitely getting healthy again 😊
