Happy #freshleaffriday fellow #greggers! I have a lot of fun things I want to show off this week, but my number one is MY NUMBER ONE WISHLIST PLANT.

Thanks to #plantproper being literal perfection and @jcPlantProper being the best I couldn't turn down getting my #ficusshivereana!

I talked it over with @RJG since I was nervous to take the leap, but he kindly assured me it would be fine. Then pushed me, obviously πŸ˜‚

So here THEY are. That's right folks, there are TWO beautiful ladies in the pot. Jackie O and Audrey have officially joined @RJG's Marilyn in the #moonshiners community!

And while I am currently shouting in your faces about how excited I am, I also need to recognize @ivysaur's ADORABLY PERFECT #ficusmoonshine and say please join @RJG and I in the #moonshiners community!

Omg!!! YEAH I forgot there were two. UGH YAY!! They’re beautiful 🀩
YAAAAASSSSSSSSS #moonshiners @ivysaur
@PlantMompy Jackie O & Audrey!! You know what? It truly doesn’t get any better than πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ They look really good together πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š I would’ve never thought to put 2 plants together…well I do have Lucy & Ethel in one pot but they’re similar looking Pothos. So is this 2 ficus shivereanas?
@PlantMompy Ficus Ruby is the only ficus that’s ever truly caught my eye but this is new to me. I like it. I like it a lot πŸ’šπŸ‘πŸΎπŸͺ΄
@PlantMompy Ah!! Ok I see it on Plant Proper. Ficus Shivereana β€œMoonshine”. Very nice!! So you have two 4” in one pot?
@MrsSmith yes! So some plants like to be a little tight in pots (like aloe and snake plants) and some plants do fine with a couple for a while, like ficus. A lot of the time it's just luck. My tinekes actually happened to come two in a pot as well. But yes, I was using both the scientific name and "slag" name for the hashtags.

Also Lucy and Ethel are AMAZING names for two plants in the same pot! 😍

PS
In the photo in the comments with multiple plants, the one on the left is a round ruby, FYI
@PlantMompy Check and check βœ… Got it. Ok the Ruby is on the left so is that the tineke on the right?
Lucy & Ethel just made sense. Something like Jackie O & Audrey I’d assume πŸ˜‰ I just love their color. Of course I went on #plantproper and they’re sold out πŸ˜’ But that’s probably for the best since I shouldn’t be buying anything anyway. 🀭 I hated that I had to snip Ethel for my Pothos water but an expert told me she was the best plant I had for the job so πŸ₯ΊπŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ I did what I had to do.
This is a plant I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED!! 😲
@sarahsalith Exaaaaactly!!! πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ
@PlantMompy Wait a minute!!! I saw the photo on #plantproper initially but I just went back to look at it again and saw the price!! 😳🀯 Uhhhhh….Imma probably need a GoFundMe to get 2 of those!! πŸ’ΈπŸ˜‚ Guess I’ll just be admiring your beauties from afar πŸ‘€πŸ” πŸ’š
WAHOOO!! So happy for you!! Can’t wait to see more pics
Joining #moonshiners even though I don’t have one yet
@MrsSmith yes! Long story short after chatting with @RJG about his named Marilyn, Jackie O was thrown out and since there is two Audrey naturally followed.

Price was my hesitation, too. I've never spent so much on a plant (or wanted a plant more). After wanting one for quite a while and never seeing them under $200 unless they were about 2" tall and that was usually $100. So when PP had them at a great size for a great place and I knew I'd be getting a great plant (didn't know I'd get two 😳) I decided it was time. It's an early Christmas gift so I don't need to ship in winter πŸ˜‚
@lemrobs keyword - yet
Beautiful & so exciting!! πŸ₯°
@PlantMompy I get it. When it’s love, it’s love. And if that price is a deal on top of the fact that you know you’re getting #plantproper quality….I understand. They are most certainly beautiful. That’s what I know for sure πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š
@MrsSmith we should go in halvsies - there are at least two stems οΏΌin that pot. πŸ˜‰
@PlantMompy OMG congrats! You got a truly beautiful shivereana. I loooove these leaves so much. Whoever selected that plant was looking out for you. πŸ€—

I was one of the people who bought a 2” (being generous lol) for $100 six months ago and gotta say, it’s been fun watching the little guy grow and I would πŸ’― recommend it for anyone with a lot of patience. I see the same ones listed for less now (pic) and you could probably find one for $40 if you check Etsy all the time.
@MrsSmith @sarahsalith if you’re interested, it’s worth watching the market for great deals! Prices are falling. I’d guess since these are more common abroad. My husband travels for work and I was trying to convince him to get a plant permit and buy one for $15 in Australia πŸ˜‚
#moonshiners hell yeah!!!
@ivysaur my plan was to get a 2" one on sale next spring and watch it grow! But, when such a deal presents itself ya can't say no.

Also, I hope your husband got the permit because OMG
@PlantMompy Exactly! 🫣
@PlantMompy he didn’t 🀣 the man enjoys my plant hobby but paperwork is where he draws the line
@ivysaur well, it's good to know boundaries I guess πŸ˜‚. Next time you can print it and fill it out ahead of time and send it with him!
@ivysaur Oh my goodness!!! I was sharing the beauty of this plant (and the price πŸ₯Ί) with my friend and she LITERALLY told me the exact same thing about the market and prices dropping. πŸ‘πŸΎ
@ivysaur price-watch, you say? That sounds like a job for @AWESOMEPLANTS! 🀣 @MrsSmith maybe Awesome can tell us when it's a good time to buy. πŸ˜‰
@Annasea BUT IT'S ON SALE.

Also, if I hadn't bought my mojito the week before I would have gotten more syngoniums last week! I have a little 4" mango from them that is SO cute, but very quickly outgrowing the pot πŸ˜‚
Gorgeous
