@RomanticRoussea That dieffenbacchia should recover. Give it a good bottom water. Like leave it there to soak in the water for at least 30 min. Then let it drain in the sink or over a rack for about an hour before you put it back in the cover pot. Make sure it’s out of direct sunlight but is getting plenty of light.
As for the calathea, make sure it’s distilled or rainwater only as they can’t process the minerals in tap water. The leaves might be damaged but the plant itself might bounce back. Time will tell. Keep it out of direct light, and they don’t like drafts either, that will help it.
