Well, finally seeing *something* happen over here... 17 days ago I expanded my #avocado experiment for #sciencewithgreg and these two are starting to crack! Finally!

Original experiment done with a pit that had already sprouted inside the avocado. Placed it in β‰ˆ50/50 #mycorrhizalfungi and water + 25% strength liquid fertilizer with a pothos cutting and it's been growing pretty good! Again, I really can't say if the pothos has done much but that's why I started the other two.

One is just in plain (filtered) water and the other is in plain water w/ a pothos clipping. Hopefully we'll start seeing roots soon and I can find out if it was the #mycorrhizae or #pothos that did the magic or maybe the combo of the two is best. We'll see.

Will update again when I start seeing actual growth.... #hurryupandwait

@KikiGoldblatt how's your avocado pit doing??
@WickedValkyrie so far it’s still rooting. Such a slow slow process. Ugh!
@KikiGoldblatt I know right? I'm getting so impatient! Haha their big brother grew so friggin fast and meanwhile they're just over here taking their jolly old time... πŸ˜…
@WickedValkyrie yes yes they are.
