@Lunatik4 aaa thank you! πππ iβm real proud of them lol. i was quite worried at first because they wouldnβt germinate for like the first 9-10 days, but the first batch sprouted around then and the rest a few days laterβ¦ so maybe around 2 weeks for all of them to start growing!
@strawberrymoon oh thank you! Then I won't be afraid if I buy seeds instead of grown lithops β¨
@Lunatik4 i think itβs definitely something anyone who likes lithops should try at least once! theyβre really slow growing though so itβll take a few years for them to get to βregularβ lithops size :)
@Lunatik4 your emojis perfectly describe my actual reaction to these π₯Ή π
@AGsquirrel80 iβll let them know youβre encouraging them!! <3 i think itβs good for the succulents too to love them lots. it means youβll care for them and look at them more so youβll be able to learn to recognize their signs better, like when they need water, more sun etc. :)
@strawberrymoon I just saw you are in zone 10a. Must be in my backyard π Iβll trade plant sitting. The cat is a bit depressed since his adopted sister passed but heβs coming around. Iβve been adopted by two feral cats and I had one when I lived a little further south so I know better than to feed them but itβs so hard to hear them cry! Thankfully plants cry in only dead leaves, but not audibly. ππ€¦π»ββοΈ
@Lunatik4 very cute. Did you start from seeds, or what?
@strawberrymoon These are adorable!! βΊοΈπ
@AGsquirrel80 lol i wouldnβt mind living in your backyard if youβve got cats! iβm sorry to hear about your kitties, please give the brother cat a treat on my behalf <3 honestly i think itβll be fine to feed and care for the ferals as long as you have a way to neuter them to make sure they donβt make kittens. some shelters do free/cheap TNRs so it might be a good idea to look for some!
@MockingJay they might not show up for a while but i think getting them to germinate is pretty easy! all the best and remember to remove the bag/covering if you placed one on top once theyβve sprouted π±
@SunnyPlants thank you! ππ
@AGsquirrel80 read The Secret Life of Plants and then tell me how plants cry!
