I went to the County Master Gardeners Nursery today. Many counties have nursery’s that are an extension of state universities. All the proceeds go to support the nurseries. Basically they are self supporting and you can get plants at a fraction of the cost of big box stores. @BuffCaperspurge it’s definitely dangerous for me. They give you a big cart you could put plants in as you look around.

@DreamMachine , I am in west central Florida. Many counties in Florida have a master gardeners nurseries.

That’s awesome! There’s an agricultural university near where I live in Tokyo and they do the same thing. The botanical garden nearby does the same, they take clippings from their trees and sell them at a low low price. It’s extremely dangerous for me lol

@Malagueña That sounds like a very interesting place. Are you in the Gainsville area? Or closer to Orlando? Either way I think it is still a bit far for me to drive. Maybe USF had something similar in the Tampa Bay area??? I will have to look into that!
