Yellow dragonfruit pup. It’s the only one that germinated 😩 tips welcome #PropagationStation #HappyPlants #TipsandTricks #seedling
Some times seeds are just late bloomers or in this case late sprouters
I agree with @GardeningDiva I had some seeds that I had given up on then boom they appeared but I also have had seeds that were old and never germinated.

When planting from seed I always make sure the seed isn't far into the soil and that the top soil is just loosely sprinkled over the top. I feel like that has helped me germinate more seeds successfully!

One thing I also highly recommend is a wind source. It will help mimic the outdoor environment and give you strong roots and hearty stems 😊
This is a great video on growing cacti from seed. It’s a lot of work but he has done a lot of trial and error so we don’t make the same mistakes. https://youtu.be/IZHZzShlDdY
@jazzyjess thank you! I have it in regular seedling mix and just barely sprinkled enough to cover them when I started and had the container closed for humidity. I believe I started these p the first? I’d have liked to keep it closed longer to see if any more would germinate but this guy got tall fast and I don’t feel confident in transplanting yet.

I forgot about wind sources! It’s been a while since I did anything from seeds….time to look for a little fan lol.
@SirLiquorice thank you I’ll be sure to watch!
