Hi Laura. It looks like there is spider mite residue on your pinstripe. You might want to considering washing the leaves, and then quarantine it for a bit to see if the residue comes back.
@Kace That residue has been there since I got it and I haven’t seen mites. I treat it and the plants around it regularly- what can I wash that off with??
@Kace I found it on my peacock as well. I’m using 3:1 diluted isopropyl alcohol to clean and treat them. Thank you again for noticing this!
Sorry, if you haven’t seen any mites you could probably just wipe them with water and see if it comes back?

I use alcohol on most plants but I’d be extra cautious with these leaves. Maybe test the mix on one leaf first?
I just started using Castile soap mixed with water because it is gentle and more affordable than insecticidal soap.
