Monday again ..
I repotted some of my cacti together this weekend with my new Sol Soil mix.. I can’t wait to see how they do.
My birthday is Wednesday & tomorrow I will be celebrating one month sober! It’s the first birthday I’ve had sober in 5 years so I’m very excited and proud!
My ruby necklace has a lil flower! 🌼
My moonstone also has two forming flower stalks I’m hoping I will get to see atleast one of them bloom before it gets too cold and I have to bring them inside because I’m not sure if they will continue to flower or try to flower indoors. 😬
I took my Echeveria Blue Atoll out of the pot I put my cacti in, and had to go out to buy a new pot since I didn’t have anything big enough for it!!
Lastly loving the pink stress colors on my melon spurge cactus 😍

I don’t know firsthand how hard that is, but my husband does, (so I am pretty much sober by default), but I will cheer for you like I’ve cheered for him!! keep it up, one day at a time! @TidyTigerpear I’ve heard it’s hard. My sister never completed her journey. She was trying so hard but the hiccups happen. If your days seem long, just know that there is unwavering support here😘
@TidyTigerpear Take it from someone who’s been there , done that and is grateful for every day that passes that I’ve chosen sobriety over drinking. Just turned 80 and every year gets better. I love your transparency and will cheer you on as you discover what life is really all about❤️💕🙏🏻

That’s great! And happy birthday. Celebrate all your successes and progress. I had a very unhealthy relationship with alcohol 3-5 years ago, and as of this year, I’m confident that I have a healthy relationship with it. I don’t want it even if others are drinking. I’ve had a few drinks spread out over a couple months, but I just found out I have fatty liver disease, so I guess I’m going sober now. I wish you the very best!

Just chiming in on the sober part… it is not easy. If it was everyone would be able to excel. I am proud of you !! I am going on to my 7th year… have to really watch it still and not put myself in positions I shouldn’t be in ex: where I am at , who I am talking to, and constantly checking my mindset . No NA or AA for me I got into Church and found my recovery there . Xxxxx

I’ve done NA before but this go round I’m just doing it on my own, staying busy is key for me! Glad you found what works for you!
