My marigolds are sprouting many buds!

Pretty. If you want that to continue, marigold plants need frequent deadheading or they will stop producing flowers and then die. Mine are done for the summer. Even though I deadheaded them twice a week all summer.
Those are so pretty and colorful. Marigolds just don’t get respect. They are easy to grow and take care of. They are hardy and provide plenty of seed for the next year’s planting. All in all, a great plant!
Yes, they are definitely worth the deadheading. They are all around my tomato garden all summer and protect them from potato worms and other pests. Plus they are beautiful.
