I love me some raw onions though! When I was younger my mum would literally have to hide the onions from me because I would peel and eat them like apples 🍎! I was addicted!! Especially the delicious red onions. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ She’d get so annoyed because she’d buy these 2/3kg bags of red onions and only ever get 2 or 3 uses out of it because I’d literally munch through the whole bag, every single time. 🀣
I read somewhere if you're sick you put a slice on the bottom of your feet and put socks on to hold them, then go to bed. Supposed to make you feel better... Maybe it just helped you sleep it off πŸ˜‚
@PlantMompy my mom makes medicine out of raw onion, garlic, ginger, honey and... I wanna say ACV(?). It tastes HORRENDOUS but it sure does woop them germy butts! Lol

Yeah @PlantMompy I used to have the exact recipe but basically she just sticks it all in a blender or nutrabullet and eats a spoonful (or two maybe?) every day... I haven't talked to her in a couple years so can't say for sure... I was crazy sick one time but couldn't go too the doctor cuz America is stupid and within about a week of taking that stuff I was all better.
Onions and garlic are also natural antibiotics @WickedValkyrie honey, ginger, (also an anti-inflammatory) and acv all great antibacterials and great for coughs
So...If I need to relax and chill ... just cook up a bunch of onions? Nice. Lol
