For the Plant Lover who has everything!!! Or even a notorious Plant Killer ! #giftsforplantlovers #PlantKillers

Already I see Halloween decorations being pulled down and Christmas decorations going up !!! (already !?!)

But what do you get for the plant person in your life that seems to have it all? Or who can’t seem to keep their plants alive despite all the love and time they put into them? For either person, provided there is a plant connection (and a hefty budget), I think I found the ultimate gift ! 🎁 πŸ’
LEGO (yes, those tiny bricks under your feet) is about to release this monster β€œpiΓ¨ce de rΓ©sistance” (Oui!)

It’s called β€œThe Botantical Garden” and it’s β€œonly” 3,792 pieces! So instead of staring at your plants for new growth or fresh leaves, you can break your heart trying to to put all these pieces together.

And it’s not cheap so start saving now (US$329.99, Β£289.99 or AU$499.99) as it’s due for release on 1 November exclusively from LEGO.

Or you can just be like me and marvel at the photos and the figurines etc ! I realize it’s late for #plantboosttuesday but seeing it gave me a boost ! #Seymour

Speaking of gifts, I intend to announce the prize of a live VFT from Greg Shop for #cpclubthursday this Thursday. Thanks to all those who joined the club and voted! πŸ—³οΈ Seems it isn’t the only close election currently πŸ˜‰πŸ—³οΈπŸ˜€πŸ‘

Oh my husband isn't gonna be happy about thisπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Challenge: modify the set such that you can actually grow a terrarium inside
All these bloody plants take up way too much time for me to sit around assembling huge Lego sets lol πŸ˜‚
@stephonicle exactly!πŸ˜‚
Good idea with Lego, but for me there's something else that works. Only $40 and I can play it every day. The turtle on the coconut may be jealous. πŸ€—πŸ’πŸ’š @Seymour
@SvelteKingfern I am in tune with your $40 choice and it is more akin to what I would end up buying. But I do like the idea of the LEGO kit. I’m eyeing a Kingfisher one or even a LEGO kit with carnivorous plants but they would need to be significantly reduced before I would buy them. Still on the lookout for some cute pots (if turtle 🐒, I may have to shell 🐚 out for one !). Yours is a major see πŸ‘€ as opposed to a C Major 🎡
@Theclaudsterr You husband may not be happy but a lot of people would be impressed with the finished display ! The good news is it requires no soil, water or sunlight ! πŸ˜€πŸ‘πŸ’πŸ€©πŸ˜
@stephonicle You need to let go in order to Leg o! Plant certainly can be quite demanding at times πŸ˜‚πŸ˜€πŸ‘
Lego kingfisher looks nice, and the price looks better too. I've seen the Lego cacti set. But, as I've got live succulents, I'm not going to buy.

I've got something major see, as well as C Major. Fabulous πŸ€— 🐒 C πŸ”‘ @Seymour 🀣🀣🀣
@Seymour I like the way you think
@Seymour @SvelteKingfern That is a beautiful set! I enjoy the pictures, but not the price tag. 🀣 I remember one time I was at the Lego store at the Disneyland market area (name?), and I saw this Lego set that was over $800 ( millennium falcon?), and I said (apparently too loudly) β€œWho would pay over $800 for a Lego set?” The Lego lovers stared me down until I decided it was probably best if I left the Lego store and went to the nursery instead. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ˜³
@teacher12 who would pay over a thousand dollars for the Millennium Falcon? This guy would LOL πŸ˜‚ πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ at that price, it would make a Wookie roar !!! πŸ˜‚
But there are some nice ones that are still a bit pricey but not sooo expensive eg succulents, orchid and β€˜tiny plants’.
I did previously post about the LEGO plant sets #LegoBotanicals ?) but I find them more intriguing than anything. No longer are LEGO little yellow bricks you step on !
I did enjoy your recollection so thanks for sharing it as I do wonder such things myself when I see them.
Though id probably get more enjoyment out of Sophie’s suggestion as I think it sounds a great alternative πŸ˜€πŸ‘
