UPDATE TIME!
Okay, so since getting engaged, my plant meter has... SKYROCKETED. πŸ˜…
I can officially say I'm addicted to planting and growing my succulents! My prop tray has been upgraded because I have so many props now. I go to Lowes and Home Depot and find them on the floors and sitting around their pots 🀭.
Sam is thriving from what I can tell! The only thing I'm having trouble with is my "grow light."" It doesn't seem to be doing great for Sam's top half because he's still extending upwards and sideways to try and reach the light. So I am in the progress of researching good lights (if yall have any suggestions, I am looking for at least one set that have double sided tape that way I can stick them to the top of a shelf if possible!).
But besides that, Sam is doing great with the propagation!
Renni is doing great in her new pot!
Osmo hasn't died yet, and he has grown larger roots since being in his pot!
And then... we have the PROP TRAY!!! Guys, when I tell you the prop tray was half the reason I decided to post an update on my "New Plant mom" journey, I MEAN IT!!!
All of my props in this container either have VERY GOOD LOOKING roots or have already GROWN a NEW BABY PLANT!!! I decided to check (after a few weeks of "ignoring them" πŸ’€) with my FiancΓ© on the phone, and I was just for joy!!
So I am over the moon with my progress progress far, and I hope it continues growing like it has been!

Little baby succulents are THE cutest!! Great job! As for grow lights, what wattage do you have? Is it full spectrum light? And how far away from the pots are they. Acrylic tape works wonders for just about anything that needs double sided tape!
@TheOddAsity
To be quite honest. I have no clue, really. I have been using a simple desk lamp with an LED light setting. I know when I hold a light measurer under it, it gives off a few thousand lux, around 6,000-9,000
They're placed a few inches under it as well. 4-5 inches, maybe?
@tumberlne Summer it sounds like a few congregations are called for: engaged, and proper success!! Woo hoo!!πŸ™ŒπŸ» πŸ’ƒπŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ•Ίhappy for you!! Keep us posted on success!! Happy you found Greg!! #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GregGang
@tumberlne well, if the plants are etiolating (reaching for light) then at least one thing is off in the calculations. And I can bore you with the details πŸ˜‚ In order for a light to be a grow light it has to be LED to be full spectrum. A light meter just measures β€œbrightness”. But the strength of the light also sends the signals to plant if it’s enough light, blah blah.

Amazon has Sansi light bulbs you can put in any desk lamp, 2 bulbs for $10. (https://a.co/d/0YiN8Ds)
They also have clip on the pot lamps, I think it’s a 5 W lamp and you can buy 1, 2 or 3 (https://a.co/d/eid7rQR)

If you want lights to stick to shelves I got the Barrina ones, but they’re a little more expensive. (https://a.co/d/3MPywUY)
