Hi everyone! I just got my new echeveria last week and after a few days to adjust, I started introducing it to a grow light. It is in a more well lit area of my house but the sun is not very bright at all since itβs winter. Iβll be changing the pot and starting to use succulent soil today! Right now itβs the way that I purchased it. But I noticed this little growth happening and was curious if this is a good sign. I also plan to water today and using a little bit of fertilizer. This is my first time ever taking care of these so I have a lot to learn #Echeveria #NewGrowth #succulents #succulentgrowth #succulentcare #echeveriacare
@JesssJungle oh good! Iβll have to do that when it gets warmer for sure π
@BrawnyMachofern Iβll take your word because thatβs what I want to believe! Lol thanks!
@TheConservator thank you so much! I had no idea. Iβll wait and see how it goes. Iβm so eager to get it into better soil
Hello, Sarah, first and foremost you have a great taste as you got one gorgeous plant! Please check if what you saw was "mini" is part of the plant as in some cases it can be a part of another plant. It looks a bit off as it is a piece of a sedum. However it can also be, as others pointed out a bloom.
If it is a bloom, I'd restrain from fertilizing and even hold off on repotting till after the bloom as anything can stress the plant and lead to loose the bloom.
I am keeping the fingers crossed for you that it's in fact a bloom.
