I moved my plants away from the cold and drafty window and made a makeshift stand with lights. I also moved my bigger snake plants inside. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict

@DKBGarden Hi Carolβeverything looks great!!! π I was looking at all your propagations, and wondering, can you prop nerve plants in water? Thanks!
That looks great. Questionβ¦I have a really old snake plant that has always thrived. I started another one from a sprout and it was beautiful. Then it wasnβt. Theyβre both still living but so much of it has died. I water as specified with Greg app so Iβm like π€·ββοΈ. Do I need to repot the older one? Maybe put them together?
@LaSiguanaba these are the first two that I clipped and they have a lot of roots. I have been too scared to put them in soil.
@Gamma4-3 So I have had zero luck propagating a snake plant cutting water, perlite and sphagnum moss. I have only had luck when I split one of them into three.
@LaSiguanaba omg I would be snipping away at that! I did watch a couple videos on nerve plant propping that helped. I think I will be brave and put one of them in soil in this cute teeny pot and glass container I found at goodwill.
@DKBGarden fun! I was wondering how you prop a nerve plant π
@DKBGarden Thatβs a great pot! I love finding planters and water trays from goodwill. Iβm going to take some cuttings from my nerve plant now, and see how long it takes roots to develop. βΊοΈ
@DKBGarden nice setup, Carol!! Smart move moving them away from the cold window. I did the same today. Also, youβve inspired me to propagate some sticks myself π
@DKBGarden Iβm watching you to see how it goes. I donβt know why mine always die. Iβm cheering for you
